206 Georgia Peach

A warm, peach colored clay, GA Peach is great for throwing and building. Ideal for throwing larger pieces with as it holds its shape well.  GA Peach alters and takes attachments very well. It also provides a great backrop for glazes.

216 Tan Speck

A warm, buff colored clay with lots of medium sized specks. A favorite of beginners due to its softness and plasticity. Textures and carves well. Because of the speckles  this body takes glazes very well.

258 Sandpiper

This clay is user friendly for all levels. Throws and trims very well. Ideal for slab work but can also be used for throwing abd handbulding.

302 Wild Turkey

One of our most popular bodies! Wild Turkey is a warm, peachy-buff clay that throws and builds extremely well. Takes texture well and alters very well.

333 Black Raven

An Atlanta Clay favorite! Jet black at cone 6 this body is ideal for dinnerware and funtional pieces. Carves and textures better than most porcelains. Will dramatically change the color of most glazes – but lighter body slips and glazes look amazing on top of this clay!

335 Onyx Krunch

The newest body by SMC! Same great properties of the Black Raven but with added support and tooth from several types of grog.  Perfect for larger work where structural support is needed.

340 Spotted Owl

A cool, tan colored clay with a peppering of small speckles. Ideal for throwing or handbuilding. This clay glazes nicely because of the speckles. Great for larger built or thrown pieces.
